SRM Workplace - Create Non-Stock Item - INFOR
Creation of Non-Stock Items:
Note:
1. Non-Stock items are generally Non-Inventory Items, where there is no stock.
2. These item codes are used where large number of same products are to be sent for repair/maintenance purpose.
Notes:
1. Non-Stock Item should always be Purchased
2. The Status should be always 50-Discontinued
3. The Inventory should be 0 - 3- 0
4. Always update the Sales Price after creating the Item
5. Update the Average Cost
6. Sales Price and Average Cost should be same for the Non-Stock Item.
1. Non-stock Items are created on basis of Item Numbers that are already created from before with Zero. As Inventory item nos have series followed
after creation
2. Whatever Item code is given by the user on that basis we will create the Non-Stock Item.

This is how we search for Items here
3. Next we will Copy the Item and update the information based on Item,
After filling all the information we will click on “Create” to create Non Stock Code.
4. After creating the Non- Stock code we will update the HSN for the Item as requested by the User.
5. Next will go to INFOR in MMS001 command and update the status as 50 - discontinued and update Variants as 0 - 3 - 0
